Pyxidognathus (Syn. Hypsilograpsus De Man, 1879) ist eine Gattung der Krabben der Familie Varunidae mit zwei Arten.[1] Sie besiedeln Süßwasser und Flussmündungen im westlichen und zentralen Indopazifik.[2]

Merkmale

Der Carapax ist bis zu 17 mm lang, etwa 1,2-mal so breit und hat konvexe Seitenränder. Der vordere Seitenrand ist hinter dem Exorbitalzahn mit zwei Lappen bewehrt.[2]
