Raphael Woolf

Raphael Woolf (* 20. Jh.) ist ein britischer Philosoph und Philosophiehistoriker auf dem Gebiet der antiken Philosophie.

Nach einem B.A. in Philosophie an der University of Cambridge und einem Ph.D. 1997 am King’s College London war Woolf sieben Jahre lang Lecturer im Department of Philosophy der Harvard University. Woolf war im Anschluss zunächst Reader im Department of Philosophy des King’s College London und ist dort nunmehr Professor.

Woolf arbeitet im Wesentlichen zu Platon (besonders zum Dialog Charmides), Aristoteles (besonders zur Eudemischen Ethik), zur hellenistischen Philosophie und zu Cicero.
