Rectopalicus ist eine Gattung mariner Krabben mit drei rezenten Arten.[1] Die Vertreter bewohnen den Schelf und den Kontinentalhang in Tiefen zwischen 85 und 430 m im zentralen Indopazifik.[2]

Merkmale

Der Carapax ist bis zu 9,7 mm lang und rundlich-quadratisch. Der vordere Seitenrand ist nahezu gerade und mit kurzen abgestumpften Zähnen bewehrt. Der obere Augenhöhlenrand hat zwei Einschnitte. Die Carpi und Propodi der ersten drei Schreitbeine sind abgeflacht, die Meri sind an den Rändern mit ungleich großen Höckern oder Zähnen besetzt. Propodus und Finger (Dactylus) sind am Beugerand mit kurzen Dornen bewehrt.[2]
