Leben

Ronald Mix führte 1968 bei dem Kurz-Dokumentarfilm Think About It Regie. Erneut aktiv wurde er erst 1988 bei The Cry of Reason: Beyers Naude – An Afrikaner Speaks Out, der vom Anti-Apartheids-Aktivisten Beyers Naudé handelte. Bei diesem Film war er auch als Produzent tätig. Dadurch erhielt er mit Regisseur Robert Bilheimer bei der Oscarverleihung 1989 eine Nominierung für einen Oscar in der Kategorie Bester Dokumentarfilm.[1][2]
