Russ Hunt

Russ Hunt (* 21. März 1911 in Brampton (Ontario); † 30. September 1992 in Toronto) war ein kanadischer Radrennfahrer und nationaler Meister im Radsport.

Sportliche Laufbahn

Hunt war im Bahnradsport aktiv. Er war Teilnehmer der Olympischen Sommerspiele 1932 in Los Angeles. In der Mannschaftsverfolgung kam Kanada mit Glen Robbins, Frank Elliott, Lew Rush und Russ Hunt auf Platz 4. Nach den Spielen wurde er Berufsfahrer und fuhr hauptsächlich Sechstagerennen. 1936 gewann er die nationale Meisterschaft im Mehrkampf, was heute dem Omnium entspricht.
