Scalopidia ist eine Gattung der Krabben innerhalb der Familie Scalopidiidae mit drei Arten.[1] Sie besiedeln die tiefe Gezeitenzone (subtidal) in Tiefen zwischen 4 und 20 m im westlichen und zentralen Indopazifik.[2]

Merkmale

Der Carapax ist bis zu 19 mm lang. Die Augenstiele sind mit der Augenhöhle verschmolzen und daher unbeweglich. Der dritte Somit des Pleons ist bei Männchen etwa genauso breit wie der erste.[2]
