Serap oder richtig ausgesprochen “Sarab” ist ein persisches Wort und kein arabisches Wort und bedeutet “de Fata Morgana”, “Luftspiegelung. Das wort setzt sich aus سر und آب zusammen. سر bedeutet auf persisch “Kopf”, “Spitze”, “an”, “Anfang” und آب bedeutet auf persisch „Wasser“. Also das ist ein persisches Wort. Das Wort benutz man auch in ũbertragenem Sinne dann, wenn man über eine Illusion spricht oder etwas als Illusion bezeichnen möchte. Ein sehr schönes persisches Wort aber keine gute Idee, das als Vorname zu nehmen: illusorische Hoffnung in übertragenem Sinne. ☺️
