Simetryn ist ein Herbizid aus der Gruppe der Triazine.

Verwendung

Simetryn wird sowohl vor dem Auflaufen als auch nach dem Auflaufen von Unkräutern angewendet. Der Schwerpunkt liegt auf dem Einsatz in Reisfeldern, wo es gegen typische Begleitflora im Bestand wirksam ist.[1]

Es wird vor allem im Reisanbau zur Bekämpfung einjähriger breitblättriger Unkräuter und teilweise von Gräsern eingesetzt und wirkt durch Hemmung der Photosynthese am Photosystem II.[1]
