Geschichte

Auf Druck eines aktivistischen Investors kündigte Honeywell im Februar 2025 an, sich bis 2026 aufspalten zu wollen in drei voneinander unabhängige börsennotierte Unternehmen, entsprechend den bisherigen Geschäftsbereichen Aerospace (Luft- und Raumfahrt), Performance Materials (Spezialchemikalien) und Automation (Automatisierungs- und Steuerungstechnik).[2] Als erstes wurde Solstice Advanced Materials Ende Oktober 2025 abgespalten und an die Börse (Nasdaq) gebracht.[3]
