Spule

Spule (von althochdeutsch spuola „abgespaltenes Holzstück“, zum Aufwickeln von Fäden) steht für:

  • Spule (Elektrotechnik), ein passives elektrisches Bauelement, das durch Windungen eines Leiters eine Induktivität bildet und bei Stromfluss ein Magnetfeld konzentriert
  • Spule (Rolle), eine Rolle zum Aufwickeln eines Fadens, Drahtes oder anderen linear erstreckten Objekts oder auch eines Ton-, Magnet- oder anderen Bands
  • einen Teil der Vogelfeder in der Biologie, nämlich der untere (dickste und hohle) Teil des früher zum Schreiben verwendeten Federkiels
  • eine Form antiker Keramik, siehe Spule (Antike)
  • Spule, Spul oder Spuhl als Garnmaß, siehe Spuhl (Einheit)
