Geografie

Vay liegt etwa 30 Kilometer südwestlich von Châteaubriant. Umgeben wird Vay von den Nachbargemeinden Marsac-sur-Don im Norden, Nozay im Osten, La Grigonnais im Süden und Südosten, Blain im Süden und Südwesten sowie Le Gâvre im Westen und Südwesten.
