Wintersteig war ein gemeindefreies Gebiet im niederbayerischen Landkreis Rottal-Inn. Es wurde aufgelöst und zum 1. Februar 1995 in die Gemeinden Kirchdorf am Inn und Julbach eingegliedert.[1]

Zum 1. Oktober 1966 umfasste es ein Gebiet von 250,22 ha.[2] Am 1. Juli 1972 kam es im Zuge der Gebietsreform in Bayern vom Landkreis Pfarrkirchen zum Landkreis Rottal.[3]
