Zebrida ist eine Gattung der Krabben aus der Familie Pilumnidae mit drei Arten.[1] Sie besiedeln die Gezeitenzone und den Schelf in Tiefen zwischen 0 und 40 m im westlichen und zentralen Indopazifik sowie in der gemäßigten Klimazone im Südwesten Australiens. Sie sind obligate Symbionten bei Seegurken.[2]

Merkmale

Der Carapax ist bis zu 14 mm lang. Der Seitenrand trägt einen nach vorn gerichteten, lamellenartigen Lappen. Die Stirn ragt als flacher Fortsatz (Rostrum) nach vorn, welcher fast über die gesamte Länge durch einen tiefen und breiten Einschnitt geteilt ist, wodurch ein Paar nahezu paralleler Lappen entsteht.[2]
