Arcangelo

Arcangelo es un conjunto de música barroca con sede en el Reino Unido, fundado por Jonathan Cohen en 2010.[1]​ Interpreta y graba música del repertorio barroco, clásico y romántico temprano, desde Monteverdi hasta Beethoven. Se distingue por su enfoque basado en la música de cámara.

Su elenco varía en tamaño, desde pequeños repertorios instrumentales para 4 músicos hasta grandes obras corales de 80 intérpretes como la Misa en si menor de J. S. Bach.

Han actuado entre otros, en el Wigmore Hall,[2]​ el Festival de Aldeburgh,[3]​ el Festival de Edimburgo,[4]​ los BBC Proms,[5]​ el Sam Wanamaker Playhouse de The Globe,[6]​ el Palacio de Hampton Court,[7]​ el Festival de Música de Tetbury,[8]​ el Carnegie Hall,[9]​ el Festival de Salzburgo,[10]​ el Musikverein de Viena[11]​ y la Filarmónica de Berlín.[12]​

Fue el primer conjunto barroco residente en la sala Wigmore Hall en la temporada de conciertos 2016-17[13]​
