Calospila es un género de mariposas de la familia Riodinidae.[2]​

Descripción

La especie tipo es Calospila thermodoe Geyer, 1832, según designación posterior realizada por Scudder en 1875.[3]​[1]​

Diversidad

Existen 33 especies reconocidas en el género, todas ellas tienen distribución neotropical.[4]​

Plantas hospederas

Las especies del género Calospila se alimentan de plantas de la familia Malpighiaceae. Las plantas hospederas reportadas incluyen los géneros Stigmaphyllon.[5]​[6]​
