Peltodon es un género[1] de plantas con flores perteneciente a la familia Lamiaceae. Es originario de Sudamérica tropical.Comprende 20 especies descritas y de estas, solo 4 aceptadas.[2]
Taxonomía
El género fue descrito por Nicholas Edward Brown y publicado en Pl. Brasil. 1: 66. 1827.[3] La especie tipo es: ''Peltodon radicans Pohl
