Podabrus es un género de escarabajos de la familia Cantharidae con más de 110 especies. En 1838 Westwood describió el género.[1]​

La cabeza se enangosta formando un cuello característico. La larva se alimenta de pulgones y otros insectos de cuerpo blando. El adulto toma néctar y a veces melaza. Se los encuentra en follaje y flores en zonas montanas. Muchas especies de Podabrus imitan a las luciérnagas.
