Synotis es un género de plantas herbáceas perteneciente a la familia de las asteráceas. Comprende 56 especies descritas y es estas, solo 43 aceptadas.[1][2]
Taxonomía
El género fue descrito por (C.B.Clarke) C.Jeffrey & Y.L.Chen y publicado en Kew Bulletin 39(2): 285. 1984.[3] La especie tipo es: Synotis wallichii (DC.) C.Jeffrey & Y.L.Chen
