Unchild (en hangul, 언차일드, estilizado en mayúsculas) es un grupo femenino surcoreano formado por High Up Entertainment. El grupo está compuesto por seis miembros: Yeeun, Heekie, Tina, Ako, Evon y Haeun. Debutaron el 21 de abril de 2026 con el álbum sencillo We Are Unchild.

Nombre

El nombre del grupo Unchild es un acrónimo que combina el prefijo «Un», que subvierte lo ordinario, y «child», que significa una persona que no está limitada por ningún estándar.[1]​

Historia

Predebut

OSEN informó que la agencia High Up Entertainment continuó con sus audiciones globales para su segundo grupo femenino el 16 de enero de 2025.[2]​ También mencionó que Park Yeeun se había unido a su lista como aprendiz, con la posibilidad de que pronto debutara con el grupo. Meses después, Na Haeun anunció su participación con la agencia el 27 de noviembre,[3]​ después de dejar SM Entertainment.[4]​ Ilgan Sports anunció más tarde el 3 de diciembre que debutaría con el próximo grupo femenino surcoreano llamado Unchild.[5]​

2026-presente: Debut

El 1 de abril, High Up Entertainment abrió todas las cuentas de redes sociales para el grupo femenino Unchild.[6]​ El 20 de abril, se anunció el nombre del fandom como «Chacha».[7]​[8]​ El 20 de abril, debutaron oficialmente con su EP debut, "UNCHILD".[9]​[10]​
