Vectom fue una banda de thrash metal formada en Ingolstadt, Baviera en 1983.[2]​ Después de un demo de poca difusión de 1984, llegó el primer disco el año siguiente Speed Revolution,a través de Gama Records. Al año siguiente cambiaron de sello discográfico (Scratchcore). En 1986 el quinteto bávaro publica Rules of Mystery.

En 1993 la banda se separa. En el 2006 Stormspell Distribution lanza los 2 álbumes juntos en formato CD.

Historia

La banda se fundó en 1983. Tras desarrollar sus primeras canciones, su álbum debut, Speed Revolution, se publicó en 1985 en Gama Records. El grupo estaba formado por el cantante Christian Bucher, los guitarristas Horst Götz y Stefan Kroll, el bajista Ralf Simon y el baterista Wolfgang Sonhütter. Tan solo un año después, su siguiente álbum, Rules of Mystery, salió a la venta en Scratchcore Records. [3]​ La banda se separó en 1993. [4]​  Una recopilación de ambos álbumes se publicó en 2006 en Stormspell Records, [5]​ y se reeditó en 2011 en Battle Cry Records. [6]​

Estilo

La banda tocaba thrash metal clásico, que es comparable sonoramente a la música de Darkness. [7]​
