Hari Populasi Sedunia merupakan agenda tahunan yang dirayakan pada tanggal 11 Juli setiap tahun untuk meningkatkan kesadaran mengenai kondisi populasi (jumlah penduduk) dunia.[1][2] Acara ini diadakan oleh Dewan Pengatur Program Pembangunan Perserikatan Bangsa-Bangsa pada tahun 1989. Hal ini diinspirasikan oleh ketertarikan bersama dalam Hari 5 Miliar pada 11 Juli 1987 yang merupakan hari di mana jumlah penduduk dunia mencapai 5 miliar jiwa.

Jumlah penduduk dunia (pada tanggal 1 Juli 2016) diperkirakan mencapai 7.335.469.000 jiwa.[3]
