収録曲のうち、タイトル曲「Ambivalentidea」はテレビアニメ『ヨルムンガンド』のエンディング・テーマに起用され、カップリング曲「白くやわらかな花」も『ヨルムンガンド』第4話でエンディング・テーマとして使用された[1]。
