- 遠距離無線通信（distance, distant） - DXingとも。
- 診断（diagnose, diagnosis） - 診療録等における表現。多くはDxと表記。
- デキサメタゾン（Dexamethasone）
- デジタルエクスペリエンス（digital experience） - デジタル技術の活用で、プロセスや体験を持続的に改善するという仕組み。
- デジタルトランスフォーメーション（digital transformation）
- デュプレックスシステム（duplex system） - 冗長化参照。
- デラックス（deluxe） - 元の商品等より「高性能」「豪華装備」「多機能」な物。DXと略すのは、日本以外にほとんど見られない表現[1]。商品や放送番組などの名称によく使われる。de luxe と間にスペースが入る表記方法もあるが頭文字はDXにならない。
