Twinkleとは、JavaScriptで動作しているガジェットで、荒らしの対処、初心者のミスの差し戻しなどに使えます。現在、日本語版ウィキペディアでは、「TwinkleGlobal」として使用できます。
使用上の注意
差し戻し対象の編集を行った利用者の利用者名が不適切である場合、自動的に付加される要約に不適切な利用者名が残ってしまうため、Twinkleによる「rollback」は適していません。その場合は、取り消しを利用して投稿前に要約欄から利用者名を除去するか、「restore this version」を使用して最後の荒らしでない版に戻してください。
Twinkleを使用した編集は全て自己責任です。日本語版ウィキペディアの方針・ガイドラインを理解し、それらの方針の許容範囲内でこのツールを使用しなければ、アカウントが投稿ブロックされます。Twinkleなどの荒らし対策ツールを使用する場合は、適切な使用をして下さい。
バグの報告
なお、Twinkleは現在開発中であり、バグが発生する可能性があります。横の報告からGitHubにて報告（GitHubアカウントが必要）することが可能です。なお、GitHubアカウントを作成したくない場合や、Twinkleに追加できる新機能のリクエストがある場合は、Twinkleの解説ページの英語版Wikipediaで質問することができます。

使い方
以前、リバート:TwinkleGlobalの機能の「rollback（差し戻し）」には3つの種類、「rollback (AGF)」、「rollback」、「vandalism」がありました。（m:Special:diff/22547824（変更理由）の変更で2022年1月7日より「rollback」のみとなりました。AGF、VandalismのGitHubプロジェクト（クローズされています））
「rollback」は、通常の差し戻しに使用し、理由を追加記入することができます。表示は「Reverted to revision 変更先の版 by ...」（...による変更先の版に戻しました。）
- グローバルロックの依頼
- その他のタブの横にある「TW」をクリックすると、「GARV」が出てきます。そこをクリックし、必要事項を記入すると、m:Steward requests/Globalでグローバルブロックなどを依頼することが出来ます。
導入方法
下のコード（m:User:Ahmad252/How to globally Twinkleより）をm:Special:Mypage/global.jsに追加することで使用可能です。これにより、ウィキデータ以外の姉妹プロジェクトで「Twinkle global」が動作します。TwinkleGlobalの設定はm:User:Xiplus/Twinkle/Preferencesで行えます。
