IVPNとは、2009年からジブラルタルで運営されているプライバシーを重視したVPNサービスである。IVPNはオンライン上での監視に対抗し、自由やプライバシーを守ることを主な目的としている。[1][2]

IVPNは、2009年から運営されているVPNサービスである。プライバシー保護と監視への対抗を主な目的としている。[3]VPNサービスは全て有料で、無料プランは用意されていない。[4]プロトコルはOpenVPNとWireGuardがサポートされている。

安全性

匿名性

IVPNでアカウントを作成する際にメールアドレスを含む個人情報を入力する必要はなく、アカウントは作成時にランダムに生成される一意の番号で管理される。またIPアドレスなどの個人を識別できる情報も記録されない。[5][6]支払いについても、Moneroや現金などの方法が利用可能である。[7]

プライバシー

前述のアカウント作成の仕組みや支払い方法に加えて、IVPNは厳格なノーログポリシーを採用している。このポリシーによると、以下のようなユーザーの活動に関するログは一切記録されない。

  • トラフィック
  • タイムスタンプと接続時間
  • DNSリクエスト
  • 帯域幅
  • ユーザーのIPアドレス など[8]

透明性

IVPNは令状カナリアを採用しており、ここでユーザーは法執行機関などからの令状の有無を確認できる。[9]
また、透明性レポートでは年ごとにIVPNが政府や法執行機関から受け取った請求の数や、その中で実際に応じた請求の数が確認できる。[10]
