オープンソースソフトウェア (Open Source Software) の略。
en:Operations support system の略。通信事業における通信サービス提供に関わる設備・運用をサポートするシステムの海外を含めた名称。NTTでは以前 OpS と呼ばれていた。
Open Sound System の略。主要なUnix系OSで統一された API を提供するサウンドデバイスドライバ。
戦略情報局（Office of Strategic Services）の略。第二次世界大戦中のアメリカ軍情報機関で中央情報局 (CIA) の前身の一つ。
自動車のナンバープレートで、国際ナンバーにつけられる地名のひとつ。日本の地名の「堺」にあたる。
ワン・ストップ・サービス (One Stop Service) の略。
サハラ・サヘル観測機構 (Observatoire du Sahara et du Sahel) の略。
