Pisang goreng

Pisang goreng

Pisang Goreng merupakan makanan ringan jenis Goreng celup tepung yang popular di Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei, dan Singapura. Ia dimakan pada waktu pagi, dan petang biasanya dihidang panas-panas.[1] Ia sering dijual oleh penjaja jalanan[2].

Pisang biasanya dicelup dalam adunan cair kunyit, dan tepung sebelum digoreng dalam minyak. Kini terdapat pisang goreng yang dihidangkan bersama keju, jam dan coklat. Sesetengah orang mendakwa ini bagi meningkatkan imej makanan sebagai makanan tradisional bagi mereka yang berpendapatan rendah.

Pisang raja dan pisang abu merupakan jenis pisang yang popular bagi di jadikan pisang goreng.[3]

Pisang goreng juga merupakan kiasan yang bererti sesuatu yang mendapat permintaan ramai.[4]
