Dalam mitos Mesir, Taweret (juga dieja Taurt, Tuat, Taouris, Tuart, Ta-weret, Tawaret, dan Taueret, dan dalam bahasa Greek, Θουέρις "Thouéris" dan Toeris) merupakan dewi Mesir bagi kelahiran dan kesuburan. Nama "Taweret" bererti, "dia yang agung" atau ringkasnya, "yang agung".[1] Apabila dipasangkan dengan dewa lain, ia menjadi isteri Dewa Apep, dewa ular penelan yang ditakuti oleh orang-orang Mesir.

Dewa Tawaret merupakan dewa badak air, penaung kelahiran.

Peradapan Mesir telah wujud lebih 3,000 tahun dan perkembangan ugama di Mesir kuno telah membantu mewujudkan banyak dewa dewi yang disembah bagi pelbagai sebab, dan pelbagai upacara keugamaan yang telah diamalkan pada masa tersebut.
