Nicholas Stern på Commons

Nicholas Herbert Stern, baron Stern av Brentford, (født 22. april 1946 i Hammersmith i London) er en britisk økonom og akademiker. Han etterfulgte Joseph E. Stiglitz som sjeføkonom for Verdensbanken. For tiden er han IG Patel Professor of Economics and Government. Han er også ansvarlig for Grantham Institute for Climate Change and the Environment ved London School of Economics.[13][14][15]

Stern ble utnevnt til Knight Bachelor i 2004, videre ble han adlet som baron Stern av Brentford Life peer i desember 2007 og dermed medlem av overhuset. I 2017 ble han utnevnt til medlem av Order of the Companions of Honour.[16]
