L'espòrt o depòrt[nt 1] es un ensemble d'exercicis fisics o mentals que se pratican jos forma de jòcs individuals o collectius e que pòdon donar lòc a de competicions. Una autra acceptacion, mai larga lo definís coma recreacion, passatemps, léser, o exercici fisic a l'aire liure. La Carta Europèa de l'espòrt lo definís coma: «Totas las formas d'activitats fisicas que, mejançant una participacion organizada o non, tenon coma objectiu l'expression o lo melhorament de la condicion fisica e psiquica, lo desvolopament de las relacions socialas o l'obtencion de resultats en competicion de totes los nivèls».[3]
