Affirmation (с англ. — «Утверждение») — второй и последний студийный альбом австралийского поп-дуэта Savage Garden, выпущенный 9 ноября 1999 года лейблом Columbia Records. Он выиграл премию ARIA Music Awards за высокие продажи.

История

Группа записала свой второй студийный альбом после записи песни «The Animal Song» для саундтрека к фильму «Другая сестра». Большая часть альбома была написана Хейсом в Нью-Йорке в сентябре 1999 года или чуть раньше того же года. Исключением была песня «You Can Still Be Free», которая датировалась 1995 годом. Она была написана в честь друга группы, который покончил с собой несколько лет назад.

Включая продажи переиздания, альбом разошелся тиражом более 8 миллионов копий по всему миру, став платиновым в ряде стран[2]. Он стал последним студийным альбомом группы после того, как Дэниел решил покинуть ее в 2001 году.
