Commodore LCD (иногда сокращённо называемый CLCD) — прототип ноутбука с жидкокристаллическим дисплеем компании Commodore Business Machines[1].

Описание

Представлен на выставке Consumer Electronics Show в январе 1985 года, но так и не был выпущен[2][3][4].

CLCD не был напрямую совместим с другими домашними компьютерами Commodore, но его встроенный интерпретатор Commodore BASIC 3.6 мог запускать программы, написанные на языке BASIC 7.0 для Commodore 128, при условии, что эти программы не содержали системных команд PEEK и POKE[англ.][5]. Как и компьютеры серий Commodore 264 и Radio Shack TRS-80 Model 100[англ.], CLCD имел несколько встроенных офисных приложений на базе ПЗУ.

Характеристики

CLCD оснащён центральным процессором Rockwell 65C102 с тактовой частотой 1 МГц (вариант КМОП 6502) и 32 КБ оперативной памяти (с возможностью внутреннего расширения до 64 КБ)[6][7]. Интерпретатор BASIC и прикладные программы были встроены в 96 КБ ПЗУ.
