Akushinsky Destrict (Roushie: Акушинский район; Dargin: Ахъуша район) is an admeenistrative[1] an municipal[2] destrict (raion), ane o the forty-ane in the Republic o Dagestan, Roushie. It is locatit in the soothren central pairt o the republic. The aurie o the destrict is 622.8 square kilometer (240.5 sq mi). Its admeenistrative centre is the landwart locality (a selo) o Akusha.[6] Population: 52,558 (2010 Census);[3] 52,455 (2002 Census);[6] 33,017 (1989 Census).[7] The population o Akusha accoonts for 8.8% o the destrict's total population.[3]
