In Dread Response is a New Zealand melodic daith metal baund frae Auckland formit in 2005[2] commonly referred to as "In Dread" or "IDR".

In Dread haes released ane full-length studio album an twa EPs wi a new album in the wirks set for a 2011 release on DeadBoy Records.[3] Their video Cannons At Dawn frae the album From the Oceanic Graves wan the 2010 Juice TV Awards category Best Metal Video.[4] In Dread recently performed at GTaranaki 2010 alongside acts such as Slash.[5] Their soond comprises elements o doom metal, an melodic daith metal.
