Isfahan or Sepahan (Persie: اصفهان‎ Esfahān), historically rendered in English as Ispahan or Hispahan, is a city located about 340 km south of Tehran and is the capital of Isfahan Province and Iran's third largest city (after Tehran and Mashhad).
