She haed twa childer, Pete Fender (born Daniel Sansom, 1964) an Gem Stone (born Gemma Sansom, 1967) who wur baith members o the punk baunds Fatal Microbes an Rubella Ballet.[4]

Poison Girls

Vi's first public singin wis no wi Poison Girls; it wis as pairt o The Body Shaw at Sussex Varsity in 1975.

In 1979, at 44 year auld an a mither o twa, Vi Subversa released the first single wi the Poison Girls.[5] Her leerics wur written frae a radical feminist punk perspective.[6]

She is featurt in the documentar film She's a Punk Rocker.[7]

Vi's son annooncit on Facebook on 19 Februar 2015 that she haed dee'd.[8]
