Jason Furman (born August 18, 1970) is an American economist. He is a professor at Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government[1] and a Senior Fellow at the Peterson Institute for International Economics.[2]

On June 10, 2013, Furman was named by President Barack Obama as chair of the Council of Economic Advisers (CEA).[3]
