Anguidae jẹ́ orúkọ àwọn ẹbí tí ó tóbi tí ó jẹ́ ti aláǹgbá ti Northern Hemisphere. Àwọn tí ó wà ní ẹgbẹ́ yìí ni àwọn slowworm, alángbá gílásì àti alángbá inú omi, àti bẹ́ẹ̀bẹ́ẹ̀ lọ. Wọ́n pín ẹbí yìí sí àwọn ẹbí mẹ́ta tí ó sì ní àwọn ẹ̀yà mẹ́rìnlé làádọ́rún ní àwọn ìdílé mẹjọ.
