Linux (tí wọ́n ń pè báyìí /ˈlɪnəks/) jẹ́ ètò àwọn ọ̀nà iṣé ẹ̀rọ kọ̀mpútà tí ó dàbí Unix tí ó bá POSIX mu tí wọ́n tòpọ̀ lábẹ́ lílo lọ́fẹ́ fún ìdàgbàsókè software.[1][2] Àwọn ẹ̀yà Linux tí a mọ̀ ni Linux Kernel, ètò àwọn ọ̀nà iṣẹ́ kernel tí Linux Torvalds ṣàgbéjáde rẹ̀ ní Ojọ́ karún Oṣù ikẹwá Ọdún 1991.
