O ṣiṣẹ gẹgẹbi Alaga, Igbimọ Ijọba Ìbílẹ̀ Bomadi làti ọdun 1996 si 1997. Ni 1999 o ti dibo labẹ ipilẹ ti Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) gẹgẹbi ọmọ ẹgbẹ ti o nsoju agbegbe Bomadi/Patani Federal Constituency, o si ti wa ni aṣofin apapọ titi di oni.
