Hotel Shilla (Hangul: 신라호텔) adalah sebuah operator hotel mewah dan toko bebas bea asal Korea Selatan. Hotel Shilla merupakan salah satu anggota dari The Leading Hotels of the World. Lee Boo-jin adalah manajer umum dan CEO dari perusahaan ini. Hotel Shilla terafiliasi dengan Samsung.

Sejarah

Hotel Shilla mulai beroperasi pada bulan Maret 1979 di bawah arahan dari Lee Byung-chull, pendiri Samsung Group. Sebelum tahun 1979, hotel tersebut merupakan tempat menginap bagi tamu Republik Korea saat masih dipimpin oleh Park Chung-hee. Kini, perusahaan ini juga mengelola fasilitas kebugaran dan restoran. The Shilla fokus pada "harmoni dan kecantikan dari modernisme dan tradisi".

Pada bulan Januari 2008, The Shilla dipilih sebagai salah satu dari 500 hotel terbaik di dunia oleh Travel & Leisure.[1]

Pada tanggal 1 Agustus 2013, The Shilla Seoul kembali dibuka untuk umum, setelah ditutup selama tujuh bulan untuk membangun kolam renang luar ruang pertama di Seoul yang dapat dibuka sepanjang tahun ("Urban Island") dan Pusat Kebugaran Shilla-Sitaras.[2][3]

Fasilitas

Ada dua kamar Presidential Suites di Shilla Hotel, di Jangchung-dong, Jung-gu. Sayap kiri dari kamar tersebut yang seluas 2.809-meter-persegi (30.240 sq ft), dilengkapi dengan campuran dekorasi tradisional Korea, sementara sayap kanan kamar tersebut yang seluas 390-meter-persegi (4.200 sq ft), dilengkapi dengan dekorasi istana khas Paris.[4]

Pusat kebugaran di hotel ini terafiliasi dengan Sitaras Fitness, dan dilengkapi dengan ruang pengukuran digital pertama di Korea. Pusat kebugaran tersebut juga menggunakan sistem pelatihan kebugaran cerdas, di mana program kebugaran untuk tiap klien disesuaikan dengan hasil penilaian dari kebugaran fisiknya.[5][6]
