Neoptera (Bahasa Yunani Kuno néos ("baru") + pterón ("sayap")) adalah sebuah kelompok taksonomis serangga yang mencakup hampir semua ordo serangga bersayap, terkhususnya jenis-jenis yang dapat menempatkan (melipat) sayap mereka di atas abdomen mereka, yang berkontras pada ordo-ordo seranggap bersayap yang lebih basal (susunan "Palaeoptera"), yang tidak bisa melipat sayap mereka dengan cara tersebut.
