Not a Pup EP adalah album mini perdana dari grup musik Puppen yang dirilis pada tahun 1995 di bawah label Distorsi.
Produksi
Pada tahun 1993, Puppen merekam dua singel pertama mereka, "Freedom to Defecate" dan "This Is Not a Puppen Song".[1] Dalam album pertama, Harry Ajo hadir sebagai gitaris kedua. Pengarah musik Samuel Marudut beserta manajer Helvi Sjarifuddin dari FFWD Records turut berperan dalam pembuatan album.[2] Hampir semua lagu dinyanyikan dalam bahasa Inggris, dengan satu lagu berbahasa Indonesia, "Diam".[3]
Penerimaan
Album tersebut meraih kesuksesan dan terjual sebanyak 10.000 keping pita kaset.[2][3] Lagu pertama dari album tersebut, "Freedom to Defecate", dirilis sebagai lagu pembuka dalam album kompilasi Injak Balik yang dirilis oleh label rekaman Prancis, Tian An Men 89.[1]
