Parodia scopa (sin. Notocactus scopa), yang dikenal sebagai kaktus bola perak, adalah spesies tumbuhan berbunga dalam famili kaktus Cactaceae, asli dari dataran tinggi Brasil selatan dan Uruguay. Ini adalah kaktus berbentuk bola atau silinder yang tumbuh setinggi 5–50 cm (2–20 in) dengan lebar 10 cm (4 in), dengan mahkota berbulu dan berduri serta bunga kuning pucat pada musim panas.[1]

Epitet spesifik scopa berarti "sapu" dan merujuk pada duri-durinya yang panjang. Spesies ini dipindahkan dari Notocactus ke Parodia pada tahun 1997 oleh David Hunt.[2]

Dalam budidaya, tanaman ini membutuhkan suhu minimum 10 °C (50 °F), oleh karena itu di wilayah sedang, tanaman ini harus ditanam di dalam rumah kaca atau sebagai tanaman hias rumah.

Subspesies P. scopa subsp. scopa telah mendapatkan Award of Garden Merit dari Royal Horticultural Society.[3][4]
