Typha (/ˈtaɪfə/) adalah genus dari sekitar 30 spesies tumbuhan berbunga monokotil dalam famili Typhaceae. Sebagian besar anggotanya tersebar di Belahan Bumi utara, di mana ia ditemukan di berbagai habitat lahan basah. Rimpangnya dapat dimakan, meskipun setidaknya beberapa spesies diketahui mengakumulasi racun sehingga harus menjalani pengolahan terlebih dahulu sebelum dimakan.[2]
