Geographie

Cherves liegt etwa 29 Kilometer nordwestlich von Poitiers. Umgeben wird Cherves von den Nachbargemeinden Doux im Norden, Maisonneuve im Nordosten, Vouzailles im Osten, Maillé im Osten und Südosten, Ayron im Südosten, Chalandray im Süden sowie Thénezay im Westen.
