Christian Prommer (* 17. Februar 1969 in München)^[1] ist ein deutscher Musikproduzent, Komponist, DJ, Schlagzeuger, Remixer, und Percussionist.

Biographie und Karriere

Er gilt als vielseitiger Musiker, der bereits früh akustische Drums mit elektronischen Elementen kombinierte.
Er war/ist Mitglied in elektronischen Gruppen wie De Lux, Fauna Flash, Ghettoraiders, dem Trüby Trio und Voom:Voom (letzteres mit Peter Kruder).
Sein Projekt "Drumlesson" spielt Techno- und House-Klassiker in einer Jazzbesetzung.
Als Musiker und Kollaborateur hat er mit Größen wie Carl Craig, Tony Allen, Bugge Wesseltoft, Joe Sample, Til Brönner, Mousse T, Wolfgang Haffner, Incognito und Klaus Doldinger zusammengearbeitet.
Labels, bei denen er veröffentlicht hat, sind unter anderem Compost Records, Studio K7 und Diynamic.
Er war als leitender Engineer für das Red Bull Studio in Berlin tätig (Stand 2019).
Er verfolgt einen Jazz-Ansatz in der Musik: aufgeschlossen, progressiv und atmosphärisch.^[2]
