Ifucha ist ein Verwaltungsbezirk (englisch Ward) des Distrikts Tabora (MC) in der tansanischen Region Tabora.

Geografie

Ifucha ist ein ländlicher Bezirk im westlichen Teil des zentralen Hochlands von Tansania, er liegt östlich der Regionshauptstadt Tabora. Bei der Volkszählung 2022 lebten 4680 Menschen in 839 Haushalten[2] auf einer Fläche von 79 Quadratkilometern.[3]

Der Bezirk grenzt im Osten und im Südosten an den Distrikts Uyui und sonst an Bezirke des Distrikts Tabora (MC):[4]

Geschichte

Der Bezirk Ifucha wurde 2012 von Itonjanda abgespalten.[5][3]

Infrastruktur

  • Gesundheit: Im Bezirk gibt es eine staatliche Apotheke.[7]
  • Straße: Durch den Norden des Bezirks verläuft die asphaltierte Nationalstraße T8 von Tabora nach Nzega. Die Grenze im Süden bildet die ebenfalls asphaltierte Nationalstraße T18 von Tabora nach Singida.[8]
