Der Lubarmau ist ein osttimoresischer Wasserfall in der Gemeinde Cova Lima.[1] Er liegt in der Aldeia Biatuma (Suco Lepo).[2] Das Wasser stürzt am Südwesthang des Lolo Mamelaun (1429 m) eine steile Felswand herab.[3]

Das Piktogramm des Lubarmau

Lubarmau gilt traditionell als heiliger Ort, wohin die Ahnen aus dem Suco Raimea kamen, um heilige Rituale durchzuführen. Der Wasserfall ist spirituell mit der Umgebung verbunden bis hinab zum Hügel Kakeu Mesak Gougua (Kakeu Mesak Gou-Gua). Der Legende nach kamen die Ahnen mit einem Boot zum Wasserfall, weswegen der Fluss hier Batu Ro’o-Fluss (deutsch Stein-Boot-Fluss) heißt. Aus ihm wird später der Fatoro, ein Nebenfluss des Mola.[4] Ein Piktogramm, das den Wasserfall darstellt, ist das Symbol des Sucos Lepo. Seit jeher verwendet man es als Brandzeichen für die Wasserbüffel Lepos.[1]
