Makingi ist ein Verwaltungsbezirk (englisch Ward) des Distrikts Kaliua in der tansanischen Region Tabora.

Geografie

Makingi ist ein ländlicher Bezirk im westlichen Teil des zentralen Hochlands von Tansania, etwa 70 Kilometer Luftlinie nordwestlich der Regionshauptstadt Tabora. Bei der Volkszählung 2022 lebten 7717 Menschen in 1093 Haushalten[2] auf einer Fläche von 117 Quadratkilometern.[3]

Der Bezirk grenzt im Südwesten an den Distrikt Urambo und sonst an sechs Bezirke des Distrikts Kaliua:[4]
